Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings |
|
Premium performance at PBR prices. With two decades of destruction to its credit, the Freestyle proves that price means nothing when it comes to perfection. Picking up where the competition's so-called "premium" bindings bite the dust, the Freestyle's soft, forgiving flex is a dream in the park and makes stomping new tricks a cinch. Full adjustability makes for a perfect fit, while wall-to-wall EVA padding and the Adaptastrap combine for comfort that just won't quit. |

Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings 2011 |
|
Based off the classic Burton Custom binding, the Custom EST has all the features you have come to love with the simplicity of the EST mounting system. The goal of the Custom was to build the softest EST binding in the Burton line and Jake Burton himself likes the result. Built from the lightweight Bomb-proof Polycarbonate EST baseplate, the Custom can handle all-mountain abuse while staying comfortable. By using the EST mounting system, that left more room for baseplate padding. The ShredBED 2.0 Cushioning System uses ultra lightweight EVA to cushion impacts and a built-in stance indicator window makes for easy mounting and adjustment. EST bindings are to only be used with Burton Snowboards that feature The Channel. . Recommended Use: All Mountain, Warranty: One Year, Boot Specific: No, Base Plate: Single-Component Polycarbonate EST, Strap: EVA padded Primostrap, Flex: 4 (out of 10), HighBack: MicroFLAD Highback, Buckles: Aluminum, Toe Strap: Toe Cap, Model Year: 2011, Product ID: 198326, Shipping Restriction: This item is not available for shipment outside of the United States. |

Burton CO2 Snowboard Bindings |
|
Three years in development, the new Re:Flex technology on the CO2 gives you truer board flex and increased cushioning that can be experiences with all boards, including the competition's. By coring out materials and adding EVA and B3 Gel, this hinged disc makes the binding approximately 20% lighter while allowing your board to flex 71% more underfoot. New lighter-weight, more responsive straps deliver power even faster to the carbon-infused baseplate for quicker control and increased confidence in all areas. |

Burton Snowboarding
If you are considering snowboard snowboarding you will need to determine which stance you plan to use. This alludes to how you really stand on the snowboard. This is important as it will also work out how you mount the bindings on the board.

one choice for your position in snowboard snowboarding is to ride with your left foot forward. This is sometimes known as a regular stance. Many people have an almost inbuilt preference that's very like being either right handed or left handed.
If you have experience in the past surfing, waterskiing or boarding you may already know what your preference is. Some professional snowboarders like to ride one way on their snowboards and basically skateboard with a different stance.
Some folks may not know whether they like a particular stance till they have tried all ways.
One way would be to slip down the hall or across the kitchen floor in your socks. Look to find out which put you automatically put in front.
After you have determined which stance you wish to use you should give some thought to how wide you must set your stance. Ideally, the width of your stance should be a little wider than shoulder-width. It should be balanced, stable and snug. For most people this will fall somewhere.
Once again there is some room for private choice here but riding style can also impact the right angle for you. If you are riding freestyle or free ride, the front binding should fall between ten and thirty degrees. The rear binding should be angled somewhere between -15 and +10 degrees. The precise angle should be whatever is cosy for you.
try avoiding the enticement to compare your position to someone else?s No two stances are alike. Your position should be unique and what is comfortable for you. Over time, as you develop experience snowboard snowboarding your stance will also likely evolve and change.

Will Burton Bindings fit on a K2 snowboard?
I have Burton custom bindings right now on a lamar board and am looking to buy a 2009 K2 Anagram Snowbard. Would my Burton Custom Bindings fit on the K2 anagram snowboard?
They should; the spacing of the triangle pattern on the mounting plates is pretty universal. Just check the pattern on your binding mounting plates (probably 3 holes) and make sure the Anagram is set up to receive that kind of mounting plate (probably 7 holes for each binding).
John Brannon: In life, all things are relative
Forty-knot winds buffeted man and beast along our coast for several days. A large tree limb fell across Burton Drive; a half-dozen drivers stopped and tugged the obstruction out of the way, but blocked cars stretched clear up to the intersection of Burton and Eton Road before it was cleared.
